Bay Area Renter's Rights Guide is a compilation of renter's rights information for each county within the 9 Bay Area Counties. Each guidebook provides a framework from local city and county jurisdictional public information. The guidebook is meant to be used as a resource for residents within each county and does not provide any legal advice. Our intention is to provide streamlined information without the overwhelming complexities of policy vernacular which bars residents, typically minority communities, the basic understanding of their rights as renters.
