Bridgecourt conceptual design was a project for a non-profit land trust within the unincorporated area of Alameda County. ECLT has been advocating for development of affordable housing and a community center for the current residents while providing opportunities for growth. The conceptual design assimilates the existing building on grove, adding a third level to provide an uninterrupted large space for the community center. The affordable housing in the back provides views out to the bay while also trying to follow the height density of the neighborhood. The goal of this project is to provide community spaces for the residents of the neighborhood while trying to bring affordable housing and equity of spaces through design.
